Meet Lindsey.Hi! I'm Lindsey. I worked as a teacher and instructional coach for 8 years. As you might imagine, organization and planning have always been a big part of my life. Academically and professionally, I had everything together. But I'll tell you a (not-so-secret) secret- I haven't always applied that level of organization to my personal life. My house (and the piles of stuff in my house) were an ever-present source of stress and made it WAY more difficult to clean, cook, or even relax. The calm and tidy version of our house was elusive. I did a lot of research, reading, and experimentation to figure out what worked for me. It was exhilarating see my house transform as I completed project after project. It was a big time investment, but it made a MONUMENTAL difference in life at home. Even cleaning is SO much quicker and easier than it used to be. I LOVE the organized version of my house.
I started my business after working with my mom over the course of several months to do a whole-house declutter and set up organization in key areas. During those sessions with my mom, I realized that it was just as exhilarating to work in her home as it was my own. I started The Organized Version to help other women uncover the organized version of their homes so that they can spend more time doing the important things and still enjoy a calm, tidy home where they can relax and recharge at the end of the day.
